Because of the special design, the profile AM wiper rings prevent the penetration of dust, dirt, grains of sand and metal swarf into the cylinder. Scoring is avoided to a great extent. Therefore sliding surfaces will be protected and the service life of the seals will be extended.
The interference fit on tho outer diameter prevent the penetration of foreign particles at the outer diameter of the wiper. Profile AM wiper rings provide a neat closure at the cylinder; no special screw rings or holding plates are required.
